Food hygiene is important, in the service industry we need to know how to work hygienically. We need to learn how to better our hygiene practices and reduce the risk of becoming ill or causing others to become ill. Every year in Namibia, children die from dehydration, the root cause possibly being poor hygiene practices. This is simply because people are uninformed of the dangers of poor hygiene in general. This course is a one full day, students receive a certificate of attendance on successful completion of an assessment.
